Grassroots Giving Grant Recipients 2022

Grassroots organisations play a crucial role in keeping our communities connected and thriving. We are excited to announce the 2022 recipients.

Grassroots organisations are often small, and under appreciated groups that make communities hum.

The Grassroots Giving Programme supports Tāmaki Makaurau community groups and charitable organisations that prioritise whānau/families who experience multiple disadvantage across generations.

Auckland Foundation is thrilled to be supporting 25 grassroots organisations for 2022.

For 2022, the recipients highlight a range of organisations with a variety of community priorities. Some of the focus areas are family & women's support and abuse help & prevention.

Each of the organisations have a strong collaborative and hollistic focus with whānau at the forefront. They also show a strong sense of long-term/sustainable thinking at the core of their values, enabling them to continue supporting their communities for years to come.

We are excited to see the amazing work that these organisations do, continue over the coming year. Keep an eye on Auckland Foundation social media to stay up to date with the brilliant mahi these organisations are doing across our city as well as following their own social media pages.

We would like to thank all of our Grassroots donors and the Tindall Foundation, who we are proud to be a Local Donation Manager for, for providing foundation and support that allows these important organisations to thrive.
