Creating a Legacy

A bequest is a wonderful way to give back for future generations to benefit from. It ultimately helps create a better world – that is the power of a legacy! Giving through a community foundation gives you the most flexibility and choice.

Why leave a legacy

There are many reasons people choose to leave a bequest. Some people have been active philanthropists during their lifetime and want to ensure their philanthropy carries on in perpetuity.

Other people have not been able to give as much as they would like during their lifetimes, so in death, after recognising their families, they leave a gift, usually a percentage their estate.
