Ways to Give
Giving through Auckland Foundation means that your donation is giving in perpetuity, with two main ways to give. The Auckland Together Fund is Auckland Foundation's community fund, which supports local projects across Tāmaki Makaurau where the need is most crucial. We also manage a number of Donor Advised Funds, where donors set up their own fund, to give to the causes that they care about most.

Auckland Together Fund
The Auckland Together Fund (ATF) provides wrap around support for communities and projects across Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. Key areas of support:
- Environment
- Education, training & research
- Arts, culture & heritage
- Family & community wellbeing
- Response / recovery funds
- Sport & recreation
The ATF is Auckland Foundation's community fund. We welcome donations from everybody. To donate, please click the button below, or read further information about the ATF.

Donor Advised Funds
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are the fastest growing form of philanthropy in the world. A DAF is an alternative to establishing your own Foundation or Trust as a vehicle to facilitate your giving, during your lifetime or as a gift in your will. DAF's can be established by individuals, groups or families, corporate organisations, trusts and charitable organisations.
Setting up a DAF allows donors to give to bespoke causes that they care about most. Donations are invested and the ongoing income earned from that investment is used to give to these causes. This structure means that when you give through a DAF, you are giving in perpetuity - long into the future for generations to come.
Some of the Donor Advised Funds that we manage can also be donated to by members of the public.
