Waiheke RSA Legacy Fund

Support the Waiheke RSA – Safeguarding a Community Legacy for Future Generations

The Waiheke RSA is a vital pillar of our island’s social and cultural fabric, proudly serving over 1,200 members. As a longstanding community hub, the club offers a warm and welcoming environment for both members and visitors, providing access to hospitality, connection, and camaraderie at affordable prices.

Our ANZAC Day services are a deeply respected tradition, bringing together residents of all ages to honour the service and sacrifice of our veterans—past and present.

Beyond remembrance, the Waiheke RSA plays an active role in supporting the welfare of former service personnel through our Veterans Fund and ongoing community outreach.

While the club does not own the land it occupies, we are fortunate to lease it from Auckland Council at a nominal rent in recognition of the public good we provide. Our clubhouse, originally built by volunteers in the 1990’s and expanded through the dedication of our members over the decades, now faces significant structural challenges.

Maintaining the Waiheke RSA is not just about addressing current maintenance needs—it is about preserving a space that has long served as a sanctuary for connection, remembrance, and local engagement. It is our vision to ensure the club remains a thriving, resilient institution that continues to serve future generations with the same spirit of community and service on which it was founded.

To achieve this, we are now reaching out to our members, friends, and supporters for assistance. We are proud to work alongside the Auckland Foundation as the fund manager of our Waiheke RSA Legacy Donor Advised fund.
